Rain

From a super sunny day to a depressing rainy next one...it is happening here in Amsterdam. I was walking to and from the train station this morning, with an umbrella that really needs to be replaced (half broken by the wind), but I get attached to them...don´t know why. Maybe because you can tell that I have walked the storms (ok maybe not storms, but windy weathers).

This weekend I am showcasing my first work in Amsterdam. I choose to exhibit only pictures of flowers, as they are a silent piece of art that remind you of the simple beauties in life. Weekend equals party

I started my weekend early this week, feels great! Tomorrow night my friend Eveline is throwing herself a goodbye 20s party for which I´m currently investigating the dresscode (I know a bit late). I don´t have a flapper dress, but I see some interesting choices (and an opportunity to wear a new dress). It was a true fashionable area where being (over)dressed was equal to having the time of your life! Have a great weekend!

Ginger lemon tea

Lately, I have been addicted to ginger lemon tea (from Yogi). It is fresh and powerful at the same time. It's warm, but also gives you an energy kick...and it is a helper against a heavy cold! I like it in the afternoon, as a boost for the last hours at work or at Sundays after yoga. You can also make it yourself with fresh ginger pieces (take them out after a few minutes), lemon juice and honey. Enjoy!

Take a chance

Happy Monday! It is raining here in Amsterdam. It kind of feels nice (please don´t be upset that I wrote that) as it has been dry for a while now and it feels like I can breathe again. Anyway, this week is all about chances: If I can prove myself, I might have the chance to make some positive changes...it is all about effort! Have a great week :)

Electric Blue

I love blue mascara...it gives a subtle edge to your look. I already had a blue mascara phase in high school and considered it a done deal. But lately, especially now that it is color-blocking Spring, I started reminiscing about some fresh color on my lashes (am all for black eye-liner & mascara)...and voila! Mine are from Pupa. Blue is back, hot and perhaps here to stay...Happy Sunday :)

Her new dancing shoes

My friend Chantal just got new black dancing shoes gifted by me and my friends. Dancing shoes are not like "other shoes" (we are not talking about Louboutins here). They are in-your-face bling with an old school feeling to them. The more sparkles, the better!

Happy Wednesday! Today I am super tired, feel ill (still have that cold), am working late...but the workweek is going so fast, that I can´t help but already think about the weekend. I would like to bake something. What will it be?
