Happy Friday! This week flew by and so is this year. It is summer again (not really noticeable with all this rain) and I always make a list of books I want to read as I am less drawn towards the tv when the days seems longer. This year my list consists mostly out of books on visualization, awareness and creativity. I will always love fashion and photography, so those are always part of my wish list too.

My top 5 for this summer:

1) Lean In: Women, Work and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg. I am intrigued to learn about her journey, advise and confidence. I still have to buy this book!

2) The four agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz. This is a roadmap based on ancient wisdom leading to personal freedom and insight.

3) Alexander McQueen: the life and legacy by Judith Watt. This biography is one that I don't want to miss as I admired McQueen for being so extraordinary. As I don't know much of his life story, this one is s a must for me.

4) Revenge wears prada by Lauren weisberger. Just couldn't resist reading the next chapters in Andy's life.

5) Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. This book triggered me as I want to use my creative side of the brain more. I want to know about how I can change my life by using positive visualization in my life.

Exhibit

Happy Monday! Hope your weekend was wonderful! Mine was pretty good, with a trip to Groningen, one of the Dutch provinces that lies approximately 2.5-3 hours away from Amsterdam. I took the train with my sister, as we had discounted tickets and could used them in any destination within the country. We decided to visit the Groninger museum that currently has an exhibition on Iris van Herpen. She worked for Alexander McQueen in the past and it shows: amazing craftsmanship, futuristic, symmetric and feminine. We had a blast going through these creations. The weekend ended on a more sour note: the Dutch football team didn't make it to the quarter finals :(.

Alexander McQueen (Fall 2012 RTW)

Hello Friday! As always, I loved the Alexander McQueen Fall 2012 Ready-to-Wear collection! They are so dreamlike and big and bold at the same time. I will dream about owning a piece!

As far as the weekend, am ready for it and excited as I have no specific plans at all! Enjoy :) xoxo

Weekend & Wedding dresses

Finally the day is here! The wedding dress made by Sarah Burton creative director of Alexander McQueen is a winner! After all this speculation, the dress is simple, symbolic, but so so beautiful. Next: Queensday! Have a great weekend!
