Work mode
Back to work. Hope you had a good weekend. Is sure did: taking care of myself (manicure, getting my hair did), dim sum with friends and that much needed little bit of rest. Now it is business again. Wish I had an office with shoes in it!

The Tourist
Yesterday was movie night. I went to the renewed City theater in Amsterdam. It is an experience movie house, which is totally different from what it used to be. Anyways, I saw the Tourist, which included one of my favorite actors, Johnny Depp (smile). Here some pictures taken in beautiful Venice.

Look at this apartment! It belongs to Houssein Jarouche, Owner of design store MiCasa in São Paulo.
Allure
On my wish list: Allure by Diana Vreeland. Her history is so inviting as she started of as a fashion editor at Harper´s Bazar in 1937 (just by being her fashionable self) and became the editor in chief of Vogue in 1963. I want to read/see all about it! This book is not new, but as they republished it, it caught my attention. Can´t wait until I receive a copy.

New Beginnings
Happy new year all! I hope you had a good weekend with loads of champagne, food and laughter. I do not really do new years resolutions, but as I have planned some activities for this year, they made me rethink my current situation. 2010 was a heavy, but beautiful year at the same time. But I like change.....
I wish you all the best for this year and good luck with all you want to achieve!
So my plan is to actually go to the gym (did you know I have a gym next to my house...as in 10 steps away?!), try to cut down spending to travel more (so less shopping..ahum), learn how to take proper photographs (so I can take my own and show it to you), try to deal with not having a car in a couple of months (I cannot deal, but I have to), of course spend more time with my lovely family and friends, keep wearing heels (no matter what they say) and enjoy life!
