Silent Bday

This weekend I turned a year older...and I tried to be silent about it. The thing is, I never really "got" my birthday (not because you are getting older, that´s just something I accepted), but has more to do with a day long of feeling like you´re in twilight; happy people, nice food, all these presents, cutting the cake (hey, whats not to like?!). I am not complaining..I had some nice things (will share them soon), but it´s just overwhelming I guess. I am thankful for my mom, for having me :). Have a great week!

Open the doors

Fall is on its way and instead of keeping those doors shut ( I know, it´s also my first reaction to rain and wind), open them to have tea with friends and enjoy ( I will stay inside, as I´m already under the weather)! Have a great weekend :)

The train

This morning I decided to take the train instead of the car (ok I don't actually take the car, I sit in the passengers seat with my coffee at hand and wait until we are at destination work) which turned out to be quite challenging. I made a plan to take the bus, buy some coffee and then sit all relaxed in the train while reading the morning paper....that's not what happend. First of all my busstop was temorarily out of service, due to the yearly end of Summer festivities. I had to walk (10 minutes) to another busstop. After my unexpected morning walking exercise, I arrived at the new stop, where about 20 annoyed people were waiting for a late bus. In the end, the bus did stop at the initial busstop I was waiting at and I had to make a run to catch the train...no relaxing moment in between. And no coffee. Tomorrow I'll go back to my routine: passengers seat, coffee, relaxing :)

I still haven´t decided on my entryway...it is just very boring right now (there is no entryway), that´s because it is quite narrow, so I am searching for the smallest side table I can find. I actually like this one...if only it was smaller...
